The 2004 World Championships marked a reset for Pokémon organized play following the transition from Wizards of the Coast to Pokémon USA.
Held at the Wyndham Palace Resort in Orlando, this inaugural modern Worlds event introduced the competitive format still used today. Tropical Wind #026 is a physical souvenir of that “Genesis Block” moment.
